@badbifu We're not promoting the forum so I don't think that's important? I bet we will be having less than 10 members for a while. Anyway, I've granted you admin access so you can check who are the registered users in the dashboard.

Back to the same questions again, where is bao? and where is the new forum he plans to implement? If the new forum isn't gonna happen within 2 months, I don't mind spending some time customizing this one during the weekend.

how come log in became sucky? I thought I could log in with username before now it's only email address.

not sure if one was able to sign in using username instead of email address, wasn't paying attention. but I did enable sign in using Google account, that might have caused the change in case it did change.

just thick the remember thing when signing in and keep the cookie it shouldn't ask you to sign in again unless you sign out.

lol i dont need admin rights to be able to see new members. Just click Activity on the top tab and you can see all the bots that have registered trying to post their links.

lol invite only is crappy. I would rather have the bots around and I will kill them but I think it's kinda crappy to not let random new people join.

I changed it to ‘Approval' mode, i.e. you'll have to approve new registration lol, we don't come on everyday that's why I don't like spam bots/human spammers, never know when they will start posting.

Is it possible to just allow current members to invite more members, or maybe add one of those security code sh*t, where you write down the code that's in the image.

captcha doesn't work very well nowadays to prevent spam, bots always have captcha solving function. I had the 'Invitation' mode on but now it's switched to 'Approval' mode lol

i think the guy you approved is a bot but i may be wrong. lol i think it's better if we let all bots onboard and slowly delete them since we have no new users anyway.

If it doesn't post or it posts craps then it's a bot lol.

if they can shut down megaupload like this, they can pretty much shut down all the file hosting services.

Megaupload became the best the last couples of years. Max download speed and they made their captcha easy for download managers to autodownload. A person could easy throw a bunch of files in a download manager and come back to tons of information. They also did not have the time limit between files or file limit per day. At least that's how I remembered it. I guess they got shut down cause they were the biggest but the last couple of years, content was actually harder to located from mega.
